Welcome to Aryaloka Buddhist Retreat Center! Located on fourteen acres of woodland and bordered by the winding Piscassic river;Aryaloka is a tranquil refuge in the heart of the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. Since its founding in 1985;Aryaloka has been a place of spiritual discovery. We are a community dedicated to the study;practice and communication of Buddhist teachings. We are part of the Triratna Buddhist Community – an international modern Buddhist movement;with centers;communities and projects all over the world. Aryaloka offers a great mix of classes;workshops and retreats on meditation;mindfulness;yoga;Dharma study;and ethical lifestyle topics such as vegetarian cooking.
